Retrieves irradiance data from Gridded Atmospheric Wind Integration National dataset.
- Parameters:
solar_plant (pandas.DataFrame) – plant data frame.
hs_api_key (str) – API key.
start_date (str) – start date.
end_date (str) – end date.
- Returns:
(pandas.DataFrame) – data frame with ‘Pout’, ‘plant_id’, ‘ts’ and ‘ts_id’ as columns. Values are power output for a 1MW generator.
prereise.gather.solardata.ga_wind.helpers module¶
- prereise.gather.solardata.ga_wind.helpers.ll2ij(transformer, lon_origin, lat_origin, lon, lat)[source]¶
Finds nearest x/y indices for a given lat/lon.
- Parameters:
pyproj.transformer.Transformer – transformer object used for reprojection.
lat_origin (float) – latitude of coordinate of origin.
lon_origin (float) – longitude of coordinate of origin.
lat (float) – latitude of coordinate of interest.
lon (float) – longitude of coordinate of interest.
- Returns:
(tuple) – coordinate of the closest pixel in the database.
