Google announced an initiative this week to build $20 billion worth of data centers co-located with renewable energy and storage by 2030, Canary Media reports.

“We see this as BYOP — bring your own power,” Sheldon Kimber, the CEO of Intersect Power, the developer involved in the partnership, told Canary Media.
